Mischief In Miami (Great Exploitations)
Seduction. Infidelity. Blackmail. Scandal. It can all be bought for the right price and for Sienna Stevens, business is good.
Because she’s in the business of Great Exploitations.
She’s an Eve, a member of a secret society of women contracted by the wives of wealthy, powerful men for one reason and one reason only: to seduce their husbands. To ensure their pre-nuptial agreement will be null and void thanks to a little loophole known as the Infidelity Clause. To ensure that those wives don’t find themselves on the other side of a divorce without a penny to their name.
When it comes to the Eves, Sienna’s one of the best because she follows the number one rule of the Eves to the letter: don’t let it get personal.
When the job file of her wealthiest client yet falls into her lap, Sienna realizes that this case could be the one that’s impossible to detach herself from. The payout would lead to her independence, but will the cost be too high in the end?

Great first book of this series, it sets us up to what to expect in the coming books. It’s interesting that we don’t actually know the main character’s real name. Loved it. It’s got me curious to see what comes next.
Below is the synopsis for this book. However the last paragraph, the really interesting part of this story, does not occur in this book. I think it is important for readers to be provided with an honest synopsis so that we will have appropriate expectations.”Seduction. Infidelity. Blackmail. Scandal. The payout would lead to her independence, but will the cost be too high in the end?”I think the last paragraph is misleading because it sets the expectation that Sienna will address this conflict in Great Exploitations, when in fact this is a glimpse of a future book.In my opinion Great Exploitation is more like a prequel. In this book we follow Sienna through the stages of an “Errand” (setting up cheating husbands so the wife will catch them violating their pre-nuptial agreement). We follow Sienna through the initial meeting with the client, the first meeting with the target and the completion of the assignment. We also learn a little about Sienna’s motivation and background. The story itself was interesting and gives readers a good example of how technical and detached Sienna is to her assignments. Keep in mind this book is extremely short and can be read in two or so hours. As I stated, throughout this book we follow Sienna on a standard assignment…..then when that assignment is completed and Sienna receives her next job file the book ends with us learning of Sienna’s personal connection to the target. I think Great Exploitation provides excellent preparation for the last paragraph in the synopsis which I assume will occur in future installments. After learning of the personal connection to the next assignment I am excited to see where this series is heading and learning more about Sienna’s background.
Sienna Stevens is an Eve. An Eve is the woman that you would contract to obtain proof that your super rich husband is cheating on you. You would use the Eve services to find your way out of the marriage and around the pre-nuptial agreement. Sienna is one of the best Eves out in the group, and business is going very well for her.Sienna is excellent at what she does because she knows to not let things get personal. She works hard to get the “Errand” done because she knows what its like to be on the receiving end of infidelity.Sienna is able to separate herself from what she has to do, that is, until the next “Target” file is given to her. This is going to be the wealthiest client that the organization has ever landed, and she definitely has a personal stake in this one.Great Exploitations (Mischief in Miami) is the beginning of a series. It was a quick read, that I really did enjoy. I rated it a 4 out of 5 because I do feel that I would have liked it to be a little longer. I genuinely liked the character of Sienna Stevens, but I would have liked a little more information on her history. I feel like the series is going to be very good, and I am looking forward to finding out how the rest of the story transpires.
This book was short, get to the point, rather too descriptive but interestingly enough I enjoyed it enough to read more from this author!
I gave this book 3.5 stars*I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for honest review*Great Exploitations sounded like a fun, intriguing read. It follows `Sienna Stevens’ who works for a very exclusive organisation known as The Eves. This group of ladies work in the art of seduction and entrapment. Wives use the service to annul their pre-nup to their wealthy spouses, after they are caught in the act of infidelity set up of course by the Eve assigned to them. This was a short story and I liked how it was split into the different parts of the ruse. The Meet ~ meeting between the Eve and the jilted spouse to exchange details of the target. The Greet ~ the Eve sets her sights on the wayward husband and lures him in.The Heat ~ after the initial meeting, the Eve plays hard to get, to have the target wanting more. The Sheets ~ self explanatory, the pinnacle of the operation where photographic evidence is obtained of the cheating husband in the act with the Eve.The Sweet ~ deal is done, the Eve gets her pay, the wife has what she needs and the husband has no idea what is coming his way!I loved the author’s writing style. `Sienna’ came across as a confident self assured woman, good at what she does. I also liked the moments where `Sienna’s background was introduced and we found out why she got involved with the Eve’s in the first place and underneath that confident exterior she was in fact just an insecure lonely girl, wanting to make enough money to get out of the business and live a normal life.I would have liked to have learned more about `Sienna’ as a real person, out with the Eve’s- even her name was an alias. Although I do suspect over the next few books in the series we will get to know her better. At the end of this story, the man who broke `Sienna’s heart comes back into her life as her next assignment. I look forward to her adventure in Seattle as this case is personal to her and we will find out a lot more.Good, short read about an interesting organisation. If infidelity isn’t your thing don’t be put off this book, read it in the way it is meant, for pure entertainment purposes, well worth the read! ~Ava
“Every Eve knew a man who wanted a blonde liked giving it from behind, a man who lusted after a redhead like the woman on top, and a man who liked a brunette preferred classic missionary style. The rules didn’t hold true one hundred percent of the time, but at least ninety-five percent, and that was close enough for me to stamp it into the book of truth.”So, in some cases I’ve really appreciated the novella…a little more insight into the story. Sometimes, I haven’t loved them…I didn’t feel they added to the story… This time I am having a love / hate relationship with this novella because I LOVED the story and I HATED that it was over so quickly. I soooo needed more!!! #needmorenicoleI read somewhere that Nicole wanted these books to be like episodes of a television show. I would say this is more like season finales. This was too good to just be one regular episode, it’s the episode that keeps you hanging on because it keeps getting better and the suspense for what is coming keeps building… and then it leaves you with a cliffhanger and you’re left screaming at your TV because you are so not ready to be done yet. Oh wait…maybe that’s just me…and I was huffing at my Kindle and cursing Nicole…but in a good way! – deep breaths -One of the things I’ve always said about Nicole’s stories, is that she knows how to write a lovable man. William, Patrick (really all the Hayward men), Jude, Cole…they’ve all been amazing. And at times I haven’t loved the leading female character…oh Bryn, how wanted to strangle you at times. For the first time in any of her stories, there wasn’t really a man to fall in love with. This was all about “Eve.” For the first time I had to love the story based solely on my love for the lead female character…my normal inner critic would probably have cringed a little had she known this at first…but I’m happy to report, the inner bitch walked away happy (other than having to wait for the next installment…she is very impatient!)Even though we never learn her true name and her complete original identity, I did fall in love with Eve. In her line of work, it is obvious that she is beautiful, but she is also strong, smart and has a wicked sense of humor. She’s doesn’t back down and when she’s on an “errand” she plays her part completely.I got to the end and was so disappointed that it was over. I can’t wait for the next installment, Scandal in Seattle. Nicole definitely left me wanting more…and I’m sure to expect another cliffhanging “season finale” type episode. I’m also left wondering if there will be a swoon-worthy man in these short stories. In the meanwhile, I will keep falling in love with Eve, and of course Nicole.”Because I was in the business of Great Exploitations. And business was good.”
This was such a unique story. I really enjoyed this read. It gives you an explanation in the eyes of an Eve. An Eve is a woman hired to seduce another woman’s husband in order to receive a nice chunk of change. Thanks to their pre-nups infidelity cause. Great Exploitations did a nice job explaining what an Eve has to do to close a deal. The research into the targets wants and needs. An Eve will go to great lengths to close a deal. We also get a glimpse at the kind of woman who could do this sort of thing. We get in her head and see how she feels about these men and their actions. They seem to be all the same just looking for one thing. The one thing she is good at, maybe even the best at. The most important rule for an Eve is don’t get personal which is what she fully intends to do. She knows that she always needs to be in control. Securing the deal depends on it. This book did set up the next book for the reader. I am looking forward to reading it. Now this isn’t your hearts and flowers, happily ever after story. This is a look into one woman’s story about gaining her life and freedom back. She says in the story that her body is not hers. She doesn’t enjoy what she does, but does it just the same. So if you are looking for an eye opening unique read, Then this is the book for you. I think that this is a surprisingly interesting concept and I am intrigued to see what Nicole will do with this series. I have a feeling that the next book might just blow me away.
Nicole Williams’ Great Exploitations is a clever series of novellas, the first of which is Mischief in Miami. The main character is an Eve, a member of an elite group of beautiful women, hired by unhappy wives, (usually on the losing end of pre-nups) who pay to have their husbands seduced. Photos are taken, the deed is indeed caught on film and unhappy wives become happy divorcees. This covert agency is owned by the elusive “G” who molds and morphs ordinarily pretty girls into stunningly attractive woman. They receive intimate details about the subject to be seduced; their sexual habits, bank accounts, and preferences in woman. The Eves then meet the spouses, exchange untraceable phones, and give detailed instructions. Once the Eves transform themselves into the type the cheating louses prefer, they set the bait and snare the prey.Men are tagged by their net worth and the number of zeros in their bank account. Sevens are a dime a dozen, eights are worth a little more, nines are quite nice and desired and tens, well tens come across once in a lifetime. Each Eve gets a split of the fee, a seven is a 50/50 split for 500K, an eight is a split for a million dollars. A nine is fantastic, but a ten can set up an Eve for life. Mischief in Miami follows our girl from start to finish; hook, line and condom. She has ceased to have any real emotion about her work; she performs a service to women who are neglected, betrayed and miserable. Almost a public service if you will. Of course it is a successful mission and we learn a little about this Eves next client to be landed, (she overheard this unhappy little hottie ranting to a friend and referred the secretive agency to the wife herself). So when G informs her that her referral has made contact and this next one is hers, imagine how elated she is to find out he is an elusive, once in a lifetime ten. Or is she?? I cannot wait for Williams to release the next sequel. This series is one of those naughty little reading pleasures, delicious and delightful.
From the moment I read the first page I was sucked in…Nicole Williams you are a genius! This book kept me on my toes! I LOVED it! So upset that it was short and have to wait for the next book! Short but so freaking sweet!
I love Nicole Williams’ books…every single one that I have read and I have read almost all of them. So when I had the chance to read and review Great Exploitations, I jumped on it!! This story is very different from what I usually read. I am a romantic!! I love a romance story(preferably a steamy one) with a HEA. You aren’t getting that with this one!! There is sex but no romance and love here!!Great Exploitations gives us a glimpse into the life of a Eve named Sienna. Eves are a secret group of women(run by G) who are paid by other women to help them out of marriages where prenups were signed. In other words, they get paid to have sex with cheating men and then the wives can walk away from the marriage with their half of the money. But it is not as easy as it sounds. A lot of work and planning goes into this business. I am talking total make overs just to become what these men want….CRAZY!!!I actually felt sorry for Sienna. She has no life other than her work. The poor woman isn’t even allowed her own sex life….WTH!!! Why would anyone agree to something like that?!?! But she is good at what she does. Sienna is a smart and confident woman. She has her reasons for doing it and at the end you find out why.I am looking forward to the next book, so I can see how it all plays out. This story is a quick read about an interesting subject that was almost flawlessly written. It was just enough to suck you into the story and make you anxious for the next one.
